Our Work

From the ivory tower to the grassroots.

The Institute for Religion, Media, and Civic Engagement (IRMCE) partners with Axis Mundi Media to produce podcasts that introduce cutting-edge scholarship to the public conversation. Axis Mundi is a platform designed by scholars of religion as a venue for research-based content, because academic research on democracy and religious extremism only matters when it reaches people.

We educate journalists, activists, and organizers to spur action—in collaboration with a network of top scholars in religion and politics.
